Wood&Co Atelier Sep 2026
The pitch
Wood&Co is a custom cabinet and millwork maker in the New York area. Three developers, me included, were each asked to make a sample for their new website, and all three went to the client. They did not go ahead with any. I like to think the samples were too good to be true.
Three directions
Before my final sample I explored three directions: a brand landing page, an editorial layout, and a luxury minimal one.

The final sample
The final site has a home page, about, portfolio, two service pages (custom millwork and architectural renders), a blog, FAQ, and contact.

It follows their brand guide: cream paper, a burnt brown accent, and a tall serif with an italic script word beside it. I leaned into it reading like a furniture catalog, with wood and paper tones, because the audience is interior designers and architects rather than the general public.

Content
The copy came from their old site. The photos were not supplied, so I pulled them from their Instagram.
Build
It is plain HTML, CSS, and JavaScript with its own page transitions. A brochure site did not need a framework.
