Whose project it is

Flux belongs to my brother, TheConcernedOne. He was 13 when he built it. It is an Android app that talks to several AI providers from one place, with chat and agent modes. The code is on his GitHub, and the commits are his.

What I did

I built the interface and reviewed it with him, and he and I split the quality of life fixes and the use cases evenly. I also coached him through AI-assisted development: I set up the tools, taught him how to ask for what he wanted and how to check what came back, and paired with him on the hard parts. He led, and I guided and reviewed.

The interface

I stayed close to Material 3 so it feels native to Android. The three modes, Chat, Agent, and Auto, are made obvious so it is clear what the app is about to do, and anything sensitive is labeled: API keys, device control, and skill installs.

Caveats

A lot of the code was written with AI, and the scope grew fast as providers, agents, and skills piled up. It is written in Kotlin with Jetpack Compose and released on GitHub rather than the Play Store.

What it means

Mostly, I am proud of my brother.
